Enjoying y’alls courses, it makes for a good refresher 
The only thing that kind of puts me off from using the course at the moment is the language support. I typically try to incorporate any new and helpful like string literals and generic attributes.

Great to hear you are enjoying the course!
We do plan to update the code checker/runner to .NET 7, absolutely. The timeline is rather fuzzy, but most certainly this will happen in the coming fall.
With additional language features new lessons are coming, and if generic attributes sound like a quite specific use case, raw string literals that you mentioned would be a perfect addition to the course.
